About Mainstay
Mainstay Web Solutions is run from Secunda by Dylan, its founder. It is a small, deliberately focused operation: one person who does the build, answers the phone, and is still there in six months when you need a page changed.
Mainstay works with local businesses of every kind, but specialises in solar, electrical and trades companies — where a missed enquiry is expensive, and getting found and followed up on properly makes an outsized difference to the business.
That means you are not passed between an account manager and a developer in another province. You deal with the person doing the work, in English or Afrikaans, on WhatsApp if that is easier. Websites are hand-built rather than assembled in a page builder, so they load fast and you can take them with you if you ever want to.
Mainstay serves small businesses across six Highveld towns, and is set up to work with businesses further afield too.

We build the system that gets local businesses found and booked: a conversion-focused website, your Google Business Profile set up and managed properly, and automatic WhatsApp follow-up on every enquiry — so a missed call never becomes a missed job. Then we host and look after all of it.
Entry is R0 once-off plus R850 a month. Core — our most popular plan — is R4 500 once-off plus R750 a month. Premium is R7 500 once-off plus R1 450 a month. The once-off fee covers the build; the monthly fee covers hosting, backups, upkeep, and on Core and Premium, the automated follow-up. There is nothing else to pay unless you ask for extra work.
Hosting, your domain staying pointed correctly, backups, security and software updates, and small changes — new prices, new hours, a few new photos, a staff change. On Core and Premium it also includes Google Business Profile management, automatic WhatsApp follow-up, monthly content updates and a report in plain language.
About 7–10 working days, counted from the day we have your content — your text, photos and logo. Gathering that is usually the slowest part, so we help you with it. If you are still deciding on wording, tell us and we will draft it for you.
No. If you already have one we will use it. If you do not, we will register one for you — and it is registered in your name. You own the domain, not us.
Yes, hosting is part of the monthly fee. You do not need a separate hosting account or another invoice to manage.
Yes. Every site we build has a WhatsApp button that opens a chat with your number, with the first message already written. It is the single most-used contact method on most of the sites we build.
We build your site so Google can read and index it properly: sensible page titles, descriptions, clean structure, fast loading, and your location where it matters. On Core and Premium we also set up and manage your Google Business Profile. Nobody can promise a specific ranking, and we will not pretend otherwise.
You get your login details and a short walkthrough of the site. We check in after the first month, and again later, to see what is working. Between those, you message us when something needs changing — that is what the monthly fee is for.
Yes, and plenty of businesses should. Start with Entry, see what customers actually use, then move up to Core or Premium when there is a reason to. We carry your content across.
When someone calls and you can't answer, or messages your business on WhatsApp, they get a fast automatic reply so they know you've seen it — instead of going quiet and calling your competitor next. If they need a real answer, it takes their name and number so you can follow up personally. Each month you get a summary of what came in, which tells you a lot about your customers.
Yes. We work across Trichardt, Evander, Kinross, Standerton and Bethal, and we can work with businesses further afield — most of the process happens over WhatsApp, email and a call. Being local just means we can also come and see you.
